Are you currently mentoring a spiritually younger Christian? Do you have someone mentoring you in your walk? If not, you should be looking for someone to mentor, as well as someone to mentor you. Jesus commands us to disciple one another in our walk with the Lord (Matt. 28:19), and “to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Heb. 10:24-25 (ESV). In doing so, we create a legacy by growing our spiritual family in Christ. See Acts 16:1. What’s more, we further the kingdom of God on earth, which is a part of our calling.
